Johann Hölzel is born in Vienna in 1957 and develops an interest in music at a very early age. As a teenager he plays in several bands of the scene and quickly climbs the ladder of his musical career. Hölzel achieves his breakthrough under the stage name of Falco and even manages to place a number 1 hit on the American Billboard-Charts. The fame comes with a downside, though: Falco succumbs to drug addiction, his marriage fails. In 1998 Falco passes away in a tragic car accident. The film Falco portrays the rise to fame of this egocentric artist as well has his fall and his tragic death…
